Security Engineer

Security Engineer | Cyber Security | £70,000 to £80,000 + bonus | London (hybrid) I'm working with an established, growing B2B SaaS business in London that wants a security engineer who builds, not just audits. You'd sit inside the engineering team and write the security features yourself, rather than raising tickets for someone else. The platform is growing quickly, and security needs to keep pace. This is a hands on role in a small, close knit team: you'd work day to day with engineers, product and operations, and report into security leadership. It's a stable business with plenty of room for you to shape how security gets done. What you'll be doing: • Design and ship security features across the platform, writing production code alongside the other engineers • Review code with a security eye and help the team level up its secure coding habits • Bake security into how software is built and released, including automated testing in the pipeline • Own identity, access control, encryption and data protection across the product • Help shape threat modelling, incident handling and security tooling as the business scales What you'll bring: • 3+ years in security engineering, or software engineering with a real security focus, ideally on a SaaS product • Strong coding skills in at least one modern language, and you're used to working in an engineering team • Solid application security knowledge: OWASP Top 10, secure coding and common vulnerability types • Hands on experience with security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, dependency checks) and CI/CD Apply here or message me for a confidential chat.
