Enterprise Architect – ERP Platforms 📍 Dublin | Technology Strategy & Transformation ERP transformation is about much more than choosing a platform. It’s about designing the digital core that the business can build its future around. We’re looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect – ERP Platforms to join Accenture’s Technology Strategy & Transformation practice in Dublin. You’ll help organisations shape the strategy, architecture and transformation roadmap for the ERP platforms at the heart of their business, connecting priorities across finance, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, HR and operations with practical technology decisions. You don’t need to be an expert in every ERP ecosystem. We’re looking for architects who can take an enterprise-wide view, work across platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Microsoft Dynamics 365, and balance standardisation, innovation, risk, cost and delivery feasibility. What you’ll be doing: - Define ERP platform strategies, target architectures and multi-year transformation roadmaps aligned with wider business objectives. - Assess complex ERP estates, including legacy platforms, customisation, technical debt, integrations, data and operating-model constraints. - Shape decisions around ERP modernisation, cloud adoption, consolidation and platform selection across major ERP ecosystems. - Design global-template and clean-core strategies that maximise standard platform capability while accommodating justified regulatory, industry and local requirements. - Define how ERP platforms connect with the wider enterprise across data, analytics, AI, CRM, HCM, cloud, planning, manufacturing and digital platforms. - Create current-state, target-state and transition architectures spanning applications, integration, data, security, infrastructure and service management. - Lead option assessments and architecture decisions across SaaS, cloud, hybrid and best-of-breed landscapes. - Establish architecture principles, governance, standards and design assurance across complex transformation programmes. - Build investment roadmaps and recommendations that connect architecture decisions to business value, risk, resilience, cost and time to outcome. - Advise clients on how AI, intelligent automation and agentic capabilities can responsibly transform ERP-enabled processes and platform operations. - Provide architecture leadership from strategy through implementation, migration, cutover and post-go-live evolution. - Facilitate executive workshops and architecture forums, helping stakeholders understand complex trade-offs and reach informed decisions. What we’re looking for: You’ll bring: - Strong experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, ERP transformation or technology consulting. - Experience shaping or governing large-scale ERP programmes, platform modernisation or digital-core transformation. - Working knowledge of at least one major ERP ecosystem, such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP or Microsoft Dynamics 365, alongside the ability to think beyond a single platform. - Experience developing architecture principles, standards, roadmaps, target-state designs and investment recommendations. - The ability to connect business processes, applications, integrations, data, security and operating-model decisions into a coherent enterprise architecture. - Strong business and technology judgement, with the ability to balance value, risk, cost, complexity and delivery feasibility. - Experience working with senior business and technology stakeholders and influencing decisions across multiple teams, vendors and delivery partners. - Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to make complex architecture choices understandable to different audiences. - A practical understanding of how AI, data and automation are changing ERP platforms, business processes and technology operating models. You don’t need to tick every box.
