# Dev Ops Engineer Porto - Full-time You have the opportunity to join our team and tackle business challenges in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment characterized by close collaboration with business stakeholders. As a **Dev Ops Engineer**, you will help build and operate the cloud foundation behind a **European B2 B marketplace platform** for a leading European trade and services cooperation connecting thousands of suppliers and hundreds of retailers. The platform brings a growing set of digital services for retail and industry together in one place, running cloud-native on **Microsoft Azure**. Working closely with fullstack engineers developing Java/Quarkus backend services and Angular frontends, you will ensure the platform is automated, reliable, secure, and ready to scale. - Your Role and Responsibilities:*** **CI/CD Pipelines:** Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops Pipelines and/or Git Hub Actions) for Java/Quarkus backend services and Angular frontend applications. - **Kubernetes Operations:** Manage and operate containerized workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including deployments, scaling, and configuration using Helm. - **Infrastructure as Code:** Provision and manage cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or Bicep, keeping environments consistent and reproducible. - **Observability:** Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and/or Prometheus and Grafana. - **Platform Security:** Apply security best practices across the platform, including secrets management with Azure Key Vault, identity and access management (Entra ID), and container image scanning. - **Developer Experience & Reliability:** Support development teams with build tooling, container registries (Azure Container Registry), and environment setup, helping improve delivery speed. Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, take part in incident resolution, and contribute to the continuous improvement of platform reliability. - Your Skills and Experiences:*** **Around 3+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Platform, or Cloud Engineering roles. - **Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure**, ideally including AKS, Azure Container Registry, Key Vault, networking, and Azure Monitor. - **Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes**, and familiarity with Helm. - **Experience with Infrastructure as Code** tools such as Terraform or Bicep. - **Practical experience building CI/CD pipelines** with Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, or similar tools. - Good scripting skills (Bash, Power Shell, or Python). - Familiarity with the build and deployment lifecycle of Java applications (Maven/Gradle) and frontend applications (Node.Js/npm) is a plus. - Experience with Git Ops tools (such as Argo CD or Flux), observability stacks, or Azure certifications (such as AZ-104 or AZ-400) is a plus. - A highly collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to thrive in cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams. - **Fluency in English** (spoken and written); German is a plus. - Whatyou can expect from us:*** Remote-flexible environment; - Highly attractive salary and benefits; - Great work-life balance and flexibility; - You will be partof a company where commitment, quality, and continuous improvement are core principles of our culture; - Highly engaged tech community; - International career opportunities; - Focus on individual development. - About us:**xelerate.Tech is passionate about software, tech, and people.
