Description
Company Description meridiancollective focuses on how people occupy different positions within broader social systems, each revealing unique consequences, relationships, and signals. Policy makers see institutional processes that are often invisible to individual citizens, while citizens experience real-world impacts that may not appear in formal data. Subject-matter experts recognize underlying mechanisms that are difficult to derive from personal experience alone. The organization’s work highlights that no single perspective provides a complete picture, and it seeks to combine these viewpoints to inform better understanding and decision-making. This approach creates a context where technical solutions support more inclusive and accurate societal insights.
Role Description The Software Engineer will work on-site in Rhenen in a full-time capacity, designing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions that support meridiancollective’s mission. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing back-end services and APIs, writing clean and efficient code, and contributing to system architecture and design. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate complex social and organizational requirements into robust technical features. The Software Engineer will review and optimize existing codebases, ensure reliability and scalability of applications, and participate in testing, debugging, and documentation. The position also includes contributing to technical discussions, suggesting improvements, and staying informed about relevant technologies and best practices.
