Cloud Engineer

Required Qualifications - Hands-on experience supporting or engineering solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS). - Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure, operating systems, networking, and distributed services. - Experience with AWS compute, networking, identity and access, storage, or monitoring services. - Experience administering Linux and/or Windows systems. - Experience automating operational tasks with Python, PowerShell, shell scripting, or similar tools. - Working knowledge of DNS, routing, TCP/IP, subnets, security groups, and load balancing. - Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response, and technical documentation. - Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, operations, security, networking, and application teams. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools. - Experience with AWS Systems Manager, CloudWatch, EventBridge, Lambda, or automated remediation workflows. - Experience with AWS Organizations, multi-account environments, IAM, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPCs, or IPAM. - Familiarity with reliability engineering, service-level objectives, root-cause analysis, cost optimization, and operational metrics. - AWS certification or equivalent practical experience.
