Engineering Manager – AI/ML | San Sebastián, Spain Location: San Sebastián, Spain (Hybrid) Languages: Fluent Spanish & English required About the Opportunity We are partnering with a fast-growing technology company working at the forefront of Artificial Intelligence and advanced computing to recruit an experienced Engineering Manager (AI/ML) for its team in San Sebastián, Spain. This is an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager who combines strong technical foundations with proven people management and customer-facing delivery experience. You will lead a team of talented engineers responsible for developing and delivering AI/ML solutions for enterprise customers, including Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and production-ready machine learning systems. This is primarily a people management and technical delivery leadership position rather than a hands-on engineering role. You will work closely with a dedicated Technical Lead while taking ownership of team development, customer relationships and successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Engineering Team Leadership - Lead and manage a team of software engineers, data engineers, data scientists and AI/ML professionals. - Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, feedback sessions and career development planning. - Support individual performance, professional development and team effectiveness. - Foster a collaborative, high-performing engineering environment. Customer & Project Delivery - Take ownership of end-to-end delivery of AI/ML projects for external enterprise
