IT Security Engineer (Mid/ Senior/ Manager Level)

Key Responsibilities - Provide security consultation in aproject-based environment aswell as assisting operational of IT Security components with functionalsecurity requirements. - Track and manage to resolution theclosure of security risks including review plans and monitor progress orremedial actions - Conduct and perform advanced vulnerability andpenetration testing/assessmentsthat also require in-depthanalysis of IT controls applied to network infrastructure, visualized servers,databases, web applications and interfaces and supporting softwareinfrastructure (documentmanagement, reporting). - Analysis of technical requirementsto design and deliver both Infrastructure and IT Security solutions andAssessment. - Consults with IT and businessleaders to analyses IT security service needs to determine scope and prioritiesof projects, and to discuss system requirements. - Provides technical guidance on allsystems in place to all levels of Information Technology staff - Maintain infrastructure,Application and security architecture documentation and provide support toprojects involving enterprise wide applications and supporting hardware. - Develop security automationtestin CI/CD pipeline on a Kubernetes based platform, bothon premises and on a multi-cloudinfrastructure. (AWS and GCP) Essential Skills & Prerequisites - A positive, can-do attitude, who naturallyexpresses a high degree of empathy to others. - Bachelor or Master’s degree in ComputerEngineering, MIS, IT or related field. - At least 4-5 year experiences in computer security area - Have a foundation in good informationsecurity practices. - Functional knowledge of networks,products, Or Software Development Life Cycle - Knowledge of E2E security designincluding network, platform and application - Experience in system andapplications security management and control. - Experience in facilitatinginformation security risk assessments. - Technical writing, documentationdevelopment, process mapping, and visual communication skills. - Professional certificates relatedto work (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CEH, Sec+,ISO 27001, PCI DSS or similar general security certification) is desirable -Good command of English Originally posted on Himalayas
