Sr. Data Steward

We are looking for a Senior Data Steward to support data governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance initiatives in a banking environment. The role focuses on BCBS239-related activities, including resolving data quality issues, maintaining business glossaries, implementing data quality controls, and defining data lineage in close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Support data governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance initiatives - Contribute to BCBS239 activities, including data quality issue resolution and control implementation - Maintain business glossaries and document data lineage - Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to improve data management practices - Translate business needs into technical requirements and support delivery using SQL, JIRA, and Confluence Must-Have Requirements: - Experience in data governance, data management, or similar roles - Experience in the banking or financial services industry - Strong SQL skills and data analysis capabilities - Understanding of data warehousing and reporting concepts - Knowledge of database structures - Experience with MS Office, JIRA, and Confluence - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements - Excellent communication skills - Fluent English written and spoken Nice to Have: - Regulatory reporting experience - Knowledge of BCBS239 - Business knowledge of banking products, systems, and processes - Experience with data lineage frameworks - Experience with data quality frameworks 👍English:upper-intermediate 🌍 Location: 📩 Ready to Join?
