UK Accountant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a UK Accountant based in India. We are seeking an experienced UK Accountant to manage bookkeeping and accounting activities for a portfolio of UK-based clients. In this remote, part-time opportunity, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with established UK accounting practices. You will handle daily bookkeeping, bank and ledger reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and year-end accounts preparation. Using Xero as your primary accounting platform, you will independently manage client accounts while maintaining high standards of accuracy and organization. You will also communicate with clients and internal stakeholders in English to resolve discrepancies, provide updates, and ensure timely financial reporting. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with practical UK accounting experience who can work independently and deliver reliable results with minimal supervision.
