Cybersecurity Engineer - Valencia (Flexible Remote)

The Cybersecurity Engineer will act as a key contributor across both security operations and compliance activities. The successful candidate will help improve the organization's security posture, coordinate security-related activities with external partners, and support the implementation and maintenance of security controls. Descripción de la oferta What You'll Be Doing - Support and maintain ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance initiatives. - Identify security gaps and recommend remediation actions. - Coordinate with the external SOC provider. - Participate in incident response and escalation management. - Support security governance, risk management and control implementation. - Collaborate with infrastructure and IT teams on security improvements. - Produce security documentation, procedures and incident reports. - Act as a trusted point of contact for cybersecurity matters across the business. Perfil ideal Essential - 5+ years of cybersecurity experience. - Strong exposure to ISO 27001 security controls. - Experience supporting or implementing SOC 2 requirements. - Background in Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Detection or SOC environments. - Ability to assess security risks and drive mitigation actions. - Experience working with stakeholders and managing escalations. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Fluent English. We are particularly interested in candidates who: - Take ownership of security topics from assessment through resolution. - Can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Have experience handling escalations and security incidents. - Thrive in international and fast-paced environments. - Are comfortable working autonomously.
