AI Platform Engineer

Shape the technology behind critical business services. We're looking for an AI Platform Engineer to develop and optimise software platforms, leveraging modern engineering practices to deliver resilient, scalable, and high-performing capabilities that support millions of interactions every day. To be successful as an AI Platform Engineer, you should have experience with: - Kubernetes platform engineering - Good experience building, deploying and operating secure, scalable Kubernetes platforms. - Cloud engineering across AWS and/or Azure - Practical experience designing, automating and supporting cloud infrastructure and services. - Experience deploying and operating AI agents or LLM-based services, ideally using Amazon Bedrock, including monitoring, governance, quality assurance and agentic workflows across the software delivery lifecycle. Some other highly valued skills may include: - OpenShift - Experience building or operating platforms using OpenShift or a similar enterprise Kubernetes distribution. - Agent security, observability, and evaluation: Knowledge of AI guardrails, evaluation frameworks, identity, access control, monitoring and operational assurance. - Knowledge of agent evaluation, guardrails, identity, access control, monitoring and operational assurance. - CI/CD, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code and automation - Experience building automated delivery pipelines, reusable platform capabilities and self-service deployment workflows. - Experience building self-service platform capabilities, reusable templates, golden paths and developer enablement tooling. - Experience monitoring and optimising AI workload consumption, platform usage and cloud costs.
