Data Engineer

Data Engineer Location: Remote – Spain or Portugal Working Arrangement: Fully Remote Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a motivated and technically capable Data Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for building, maintaining and improving data pipelines, ensuring data is accurate, accessible and reliable across our business. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes. - Extract, transform and load data from multiple sources. - Build and maintain data warehouses and databases. - Ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency and reliability. - Write and optimise SQL queries for data processing and reporting. - Work with internal teams to understand data requirements. - Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and resolve issues. - Maintain clear documentation of data processes and infrastructure. - Support the development of reporting, analytics and business intelligence solutions. Required Skills & Experience - 2+ years of experience in a Data Engineering or similar role. - Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases. - Good knowledge of Python. - Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines. - Understanding of data warehousing and data modelling concepts. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud. - Experience with tools such as Airflow, dbt or similar is beneficial. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
