Cloud Engineer

Each new client project at Wert Group gets its own cloud environment, with accounts, networks, storage and access rights for the consultants on it. We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to build and run these environments. The position is full-time and remote from anywhere in Germany. About Wert Group Wert Group is a management consulting firm. We work with owners and management teams on strategy, organization design, operating models and governance. Responsibilities - Create and configure cloud accounts, networks and storage for new client projects - Manage users, roles and access rights in AWS and Microsoft 365 - Write and update Terraform modules - Monitor costs and clean up unused resources - Apply security updates and fix issues found in reviews - Handle infrastructure tickets from consultants and engineers Requirements - 2 or more years working with AWS or Azure - Cloud networking: VPCs, subnets, DNS and VPNs - Identity and access management - Terraform, CloudFormation or Bicep Nice to Have - A degree in computer science or a related field - Python or PowerShell scripting - AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Azure Administrator certification Benefits - 30 days of paid vacation - Laptop and equipment for working from home - Monthly home office allowance - Annual training budget and paid certification exams - Company pension plan - Flexible working hours The Team You will work with our DevOps and data engineers and with the consultants who use the environments you set up.
