Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Cultural Resources/Architectural Historian and Senior Project Manager based in the United States. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and expand cultural resources services across the Southeastern United States. You will combine architectural history expertise, regulatory knowledge, and project management experience to deliver complex cultural resources programs. Working closely with archaeological specialists and multidisciplinary teams, you will lead projects from initial surveys and evaluations through consultation, effects assessments, and mitigation. The position also plays a central role in business development, client relationship management, and strategic growth. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients and agencies while guiding projects through federal and state historic preservation requirements. As the practice grows, you will mentor emerging professionals, support recruitment, and help establish consistent technical standards and best practices. This is a remote opportunity for an experienced professional seeking meaningful influence over projects that protect historic resources and support community development.
