Founding Designer

We're hiring a founding product designer with strong systems thinking and exceptional attention to detail to help shape the future of hospitality technology. You'll join a small, fast-moving team building the core operating system for modern restaurants, partnering with some of the most exciting brands in the industry. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Design complex, data-driven interfaces across CRM dashboards, guest profiles, segmentation tools, reporting, and campaign builders - Turn messy, multi-source data (POS, reservations, reviews, email, SMS) into clear, intuitive workflows for operators - Define information architecture and interaction patterns for products used daily by non-technical teams - Partner closely with engineering to bring thoughtful, high-quality interfaces to life - Work directly with the founder to shape product direction and translate brand into product design - Establish design standards, systems, and tooling that scale with the company - Meet with restaurant operators to deeply understand workflows and real-world constraints - Bonus: experience in brand and graphic design to work with the GTM team on brand activations WHAT YOU'LL BRING - Experience designing products from 0 to 1 - Strong systems design and information architecture skills - Ability to simplify complex data models into intuitive user experiences - A portfolio showing strong visual taste and attention to detail - Comfort designing for non-technical users solving complex problems - Ownership mindset and strong product instincts - Experience with the latest AI tools and building internal design harnesses - Interest in hospitality, restaurants, or consumer-facing software WHAT WE OFFER - Competitive salary: $160K-$200K + equity - In-person team, 5 days/week in SoHo - Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your dependents (FSA and HSA options) - Daily lunch from top NYC restaurants (you choose your first week) - Unlimited PTO - Access to coveted NYC reservations
