Software Developer - Java Backend

🚀We're Hiring for an exciting new opportunity: Software Developer - Java Backend (Aveiro - 3x week at the office) *Mandatory to be in Portugal* What will you do? - Analyse functional and technical requirements and contribute to software solution specifications. - Develop, implement and maintain software applications and services, primarily using Java. - Develop and integrate REST APIs. - Implement and maintain solutions based on microservices and event-driven architectures. - Ensure code quality through unit and integration testing. - Develop and execute End-to-End (E2E) tests to validate implemented functionalities. - Prepare and maintain technical documentation. - Participate in code reviews, promoting software development best practices. - Apply Clean Code principles and SOLID design principles. - Collaborate with the team on the technical evolution of the platform and problem-solving activities. Requirements (Mandatory): - Proven software development experience using Java 8 or higher. - Experience developing and consuming REST APIs. - Knowledge of Clean Code principles and SOLID principles and experience in unit testing - Experience with version control tools, particularly Git/GitHub (branch, pull requests and code reviews. Nice to have - Experience or knowledge of test automation using Playwright. - Knowledge of microservices architectures. - Knowledge of event-driven architectures.
