The Role Reporting into the Infrastructure leadership team, you will work at the intersection of software engineering and cloud operations, helping ensure the platform remains reliable, scalable, and performant as traffic volumes continue to grow. Responsibilities include: - Owning reliability, scalability, and availability initiatives across critical platform services - Architecting and improving cloud infrastructure within AWS environments - Driving platform automation through Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD best practices - Supporting large-scale Kubernetes deployments and cloud-native technologies - Working directly with engineering teams to improve system performance and reduce operational risk - Leading technical roadmaps and infrastructure improvement programmes - Driving FinOps initiatives, ensuring efficient cloud usage and cost management - Mentoring engineers and elevating SRE best practices across the organisation - Participating in a compensated on-call rotation The role offers a blend of approximately 60% hands-on technical contribution and 40% leadership through architecture, mentoring, and strategic planning.
