About the Role As a Video RemoteInterpreter, you will provide accurate and efficient interpretation in various settings, facilitating effective communication between English and Spanish speakers. Key Responsibilities: - Provideover-the-phone and video consecutive interpretationin medical, legal, and social service environments. - Accurately convey messages while maintaining professional neutrality and confidentiality. - Research terminology to ensure a thorough understanding of specialized fields. - Demonstrate cultural sensitivity to bridge gaps between diverse backgrounds. What We’re Looking For: - Bilingual Excellence:Native-level or near-native fluency in both Spanish and English (C1/C2 level). - Professionalism:Ability to handle high-pressure or sensitive situations with grace. - Core Skills:Outstanding listening, retention, and note-taking abilities. - Experience:Previous interpretation experience is preferred, but we welcome all highly skilled candidates! Technical & Professional Standards To ensure the highest quality for our clients, the following setup is required: 💻 Workspace & Hardware: - OS:Windows 10/11 or macOS 12.7+ (fully updated). Note: Remote/Virtual PCs are not permitted. - Specs:CPU Intel 6th Gen (i5-6xxx) or AMD equivalent; 8GB RAM minimum. - Internet:Wired connection via Starlink, xDSL, Coaxial, or Fiber.
