Senior Platform Engineer | Dublin We’ve partnered with an ambitious Dublin based fintech that’s rebuilding core financial infrastructure from scratch. They’re replacing fragile legacy banking systems with an AI-native, event-driven platform built for five-nines uptime and multi-region active-active resilience. This is a platform role where the infrastructure is designed for AI agents first, engineers second. What you’ll be doing: - Building and scaling multi-region Kubernetes across cloud and on-prem - Hardening active-active distributed systems - Designing end-to-end observability (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) - Leading an AI-powered SRE approach: auto-remediation, root-cause analysis, AI-generated runbooks - Building zero-trust, compliance-ready infrastructure (SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR) What you’ll bring: - Deep Kubernetes expertise, including custom operators, CRDs and controllers in production - Strong distributed systems knowledge (Kafka, Raft, multi-region deployments) - An SRE mindset: you think in SLOs, error budgets and resilience under load - Everything-as-code fluency: Terraform, Helm, GitOps - Experience across hybrid, on-prem or air-gapped environments Nice to have: Core banking or ledger experience, regulated environments, and DR strategy or multi-cluster federation experience.
