Director, Premium Audit

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Premium Audit based in the United States. The Director, Premium Audit will provide strategic leadership and company-wide direction for premium audit operations within a workers’ compensation insurance environment. This senior role is responsible for establishing policies, procedures, and financial controls while ensuring compliance with state regulations, industry bureau requirements, and applicable NAIC standards. You will oversee audit quality, data integrity, operational performance, and the implementation of business-wide improvements. Working closely with business units and functional leaders, you will help support new market initiatives, strengthen customer service, and ensure efficient delivery across the organization. The position also involves managing budgets, workforce planning, vendor relationships, and the professional development of audit teams. This is a fully remote leadership opportunity for an experienced insurance professional who can combine technical expertise with strategic vision and people management.
