Engineering Manager

Job title: Engineering Manager (CI/CD, Platform Features & AI) Job type: Contract Contract Length: 12-24 months Rate: €110+ per hour Role Location: Hybrid - Utrecht or Amsterdam (1-2 days per week onsite). Candidates must be NL based and speak Dutch + English The Company A large, well-known global organisation working on transformation programmes Role And Responsibilities Signify have partnered up with an established organisation to hire an Engineering Manager as the company scales its Dutch capabilities. This is a people-first leadership role covering multiple engineering teams: - CI/CD team - Features team, covering databases and messaging - AI team, which you are likely to inherit as the function grows You will help shape its scope as you go as part of their digital transformation programme while the business reshapes it's whole technology function with new cutting edge technologies. You will be someone who can set a clear vision, bring order to ambiguity and fill in the blanks. Job Requirements - Proven experience as an Engineering Manager leading multiple teams, ideally across platform or infrastructure engineering - Has “done it all before” and can step in, take ownership and work out what needs to happen. - Strong people leadership: coaching, building team culture and developing engineers - Comfortable with ambiguity and change, not someone who needs everything settled before they start - Clear vision and the ability to turn it into a practical roadmap - Solid technical grounding in CI/CD, databases and messaging; exposure to AI/ML teams or tooling is a plus - Confident turning product and business requirements into technical direction - A team player who collaborates well across teams and is curious about where the wider organisation is heading - Must be based in the Netherlands and speak Dutch + English Interview Process 2 stage interview process If you are interested, please apply to this advert or email your CV to iqbal.miah@signify-tech.com Accessibility Statement Read and apply for this role in the way that works for you by using our Recite Me assistive technology tool.
