Director, Business Development and Capture Management - DoD IT

Our partner is looking for a Director, Business Development and Capture Management - DoD IT based in the United States. The Director of Business Development and Capture Management will drive strategic growth and new business acquisition across the Department of Defense (DoD) IT market. This role focuses on identifying, shaping, and winning high-value government contracting opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships and entering new markets. You will lead business development and capture initiatives spanning enterprise IT, cloud migration, cybersecurity, software development, and IT modernization. Working closely with senior leadership, technical teams, and industry partners, you will develop competitive strategies and oversee key elements of the proposal lifecycle. The position requires a strong understanding of federal contracting, DoD procurement environments, and the competitive landscape, particularly within Army and Joint Agency markets. You will also play a key role in long-term strategic planning, partnership development, and pipeline management to support sustainable business growth.
