Technical Co-Founder / CTO, StoicTwin Remote (international travel required) · Full-time · Equity-led, salary on funding About StoicTwin Investors make high-stakes decisions tired, rushed and under pressure, yet nothing shows them how that shapes their judgement. StoicTwin is a private performance tool for investment professionals. It links how they feel when they decide to how each deal turns out, and turns costly patterns into personal rules. We’re at pre-seed. Founder Gianne Middleton has over a decade in private equity and sovereign wealth, and has built a working prototype with live AI deal briefs and a pattern engine. We’re now raising a $600,000 round to launch a closed beta in the UAE, then expand to London. The role You’ll be StoicTwin’s first technical hire, and you’ll own the technology from day one. This is a hands-on role: you’ll write code before you build a team. What you’ll do - Turn the prototype into a secure, production-ready app, with accounts, a database and a native mobile app - Choose our architecture and infrastructure, including where sensitive data is stored - Build security and privacy in from the start, and lead reviews and audits - Own the AI features and the guardrails that stop the product giving investment advice - Develop the pattern engine with real user data - Work closely with the founder on product, and speak to investors and firms’ compliance teams - Hire and lead our first engineers as we grow - What we’re looking for - A track record of shipping and running production apps, ideally as a founding engineer or early technical lead - Experience with TypeScript and React, and ideally React Native - Strong cloud and security experience, ideally with sensitive data in fintech, health or similar - Experience building with large language models - Comfort with ambiguity, and working remotely across time zones - An interest in behaviour, decision-making or finance - What we offer - Meaningful co-founder equity, with four-year vesting - A salary once our pre-seed round closes - Real ownership of the product and technology from the start To apply: send a short note on something you’ve built along with your CV, to stoictwin@proton.me.
