Chief Technology Officer

We are looking for an ambitious, AI-native Chief Technology & Product Officer (CTPO) to lead Cohabs’ technology, product, and AI transformation. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a team of around 10 people and play a key role in shaping how we scale globally. You combine CTO-level technical expertise, strong product vision and an entrepreneurial mindset. You see AI as an opportunity to fundamentally rethink how a business operates, not simply improve existing processes. Your mission is to build a smarter, more scalable and AI-first organization. From our member experience to internal operations, you will identify opportunities to automate, simplify and innovate across the business. You will own our entire digital ecosystem, including our website, member app, internal platforms, data infrastructure, AI solutions and support the business in selecting and maintaining any digital solution (ERP, function specific SAAS etc.). Working closely with leadership and operational teams, you will translate business challenges into impactful technology solutions. This is a strategic leadership role, not a day-to-day coding position. We expect you to challenge technical decisions, develop a high-performing team and drive execution with speed, discipline and ambition. What you’ll be doing:Drive Our Data & AI-First Transformation - Lead Cohabs’ data and AI strategy, building an AI-first organization where automation and intelligent agents are embedded into daily operations. - Build a unified, reliable data infrastructure, enabling real-time analytics, actionable insights and data-driven decision-making across the business. - Identify and deploy high-impact AI solutions across finance, sales, marketing, operations and investment management. - Foster an AI-native culture, leveraging AI to accelerate development, improve productivity and empower every team. - Transform manual processes into intelligent, scalable workflows, delivering measurable efficiency gains and ROI. Own Product & Digital Strategy - Define and execute the product roadmap across our website, member app and internal platforms. - Improve the entire member journey, from acquisition and booking to living experience and retention. - Leverage data, analytics and AI to optimize conversion, satisfaction and operational performance. - Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, scalability and return on investment. Lead Technology & Engineering - Define the technology architecture and ensure our platforms are reliable, secure and scalable. - Oversee engineering, infrastructure, integrations, cybersecurity and data systems. - Balance innovation with technical excellence, performance and cost efficiency. - Make pragmatic build-versus-buy decisions and ensure fast, high-quality execution. Build & Lead a High-Performing Team - Lead, coach and develop a team of approximately 10 technology and product professionals. - Establish a culture of ownership, accountability, speed and continuous improvement. - Manage technology budgets, resources and external partners. - Work directly with the CEO and leadership team to align technology investments with strategic priorities. What we're looking for: - Proven technology leader: Experience as a CTO, VP Engineering or similar role in a fast-growing startup or scaleup. - AI-native mindset: Deep understanding of AI tools, agents and automation, with hands-on experience deploying them in real business environments. - Strong technical foundation: Solid expertise in software engineering, cloud architecture, APIs, data infrastructure and cybersecurity. - Product-driven: Ability to translate customer needs and business challenges into intuitive, impactful digital products. - Business-oriented: Strong commercial judgment, with a focus on growth, efficiency, scalability and measurable ROI. - Entrepreneurial and pragmatic: Comfortable making decisions quickly, challenging the status quo and delivering results with limited resources. - People leader: Proven ability to attract, develop and inspire high-performing teams. - Clear communicator: Able to bridge technology, product and business strategy while working closely with senior leadership. Experience in consumer technology, hospitality, real estate or businesses combining digital platforms with physical operations is a plus, but not required.
