Cybersecurity Engineer Onsite — Berlin, Germany We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join a Berlin-based technology company developing secure, scalable cloud and SaaS solutions for enterprise clients. The role focuses on protecting cloud infrastructure, applications and internal systems against cybersecurity threats. You will work closely with infrastructure, DevOps and software engineering teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement security controls and improve the organisation's overall security posture. This is a fully onsite position based in Berlin, offering the opportunity to contribute directly to the security architecture and operational resilience of a growing technology company. Requirements - Minimum 3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security engineering. - Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security and vulnerability management. - Hands-on experience securing AWS environments. - Experience with SIEM platforms, security monitoring and incident response. - Proficiency in Linux environments and Python scripting. - Understanding of IAM, security controls and common attack vectors. - Ability to work onsite in Berlin, Germany. - Professional working proficiency in English. Nice to Have - Experience with penetration testing and application security. - Familiarity with Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes security. - Knowledge of ISO 27001 and security compliance frameworks. - Experience implementing security automation workflows. - Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Security Specialty or equivalent.
