Accounting Operations Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Accounting Operations Manager based in the United States. This is a high-ownership finance leadership role within a fast-growing HR technology business combining SaaS and marketplace operations. You’ll take ownership of the full monthly close and the financial operations supporting a complex, multi-revenue business model. The role covers revenue recognition, treasury, AP/AR, reporting, payroll coordination, and audit support. You’ll serve as a key finance partner across Operations, Product, Customer Success, and executive leadership. The position offers significant autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to improve processes across the finance function. It’s well suited to an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a startup environment and enjoys solving operational challenges. The role is remote-first, with an optional office environment in Richmond, Virginia.
