About the Role WiseGlow is building its European Engineering Management Center from the ground up in Warsaw — the delivery hub for our new energy project portfolio across Poland, Italy, and Germany. This is a build-from-zero mandate — you'll design the org, hire the team, and establish the multinational project management system from scratch. What You'll Own - Build and lead the Engineering Management Center from the ground up — org design, RACI, hiring site PMs, quality/schedule/HSE roles - Establish a unified multinational PM system: scheduling, cost control, quality, risk, and reporting standards built for portfolio management across dozens of parallel small-to-mid-size sites (not single mega-project delivery) - Drive construction delivery of the 500MW Italian solar portfolio across multiple parallel 2-10MW sites — on-time grid connection, cost control, quality compliance - Lead EPC contractor and subcontractor selection, negotiation, and full-lifecycle contract management, including FIDIC-based contracts - Build reporting and decision-making cadence between HQ and local teams - Standardize and digitize construction-to-O&M handover (budgeting, invoicing, progress reporting) - Identify and manage cross-border risks: grid connection permitting, EPC performance risk, supply chain delays, FX, and compliance - What You Bring - 10+ years in engineering/construction management for renewable energy (solar/wind preferred) or large infrastructure, including 3-5+ years at Project Director / Head of Engineering Management level - Direct experience building a team and PM process framework from zero — not just executing within an existing system - Portfolio/program management experience — running multiple small-to-mid-size projects across different locations in parallel, not a single large project - EPC contract management and hands-on FIDIC experience; PMP or equivalent preferred - Fluent business English (written + spoken) - Willing to be based in Warsaw with frequent multinational travel (Italy and beyond) Nice to Have - Direct utility-scale ground-mount solar construction management experience (clearly distinct from distributed/C&I) - BESS project engineering management background - Italy or Southern Europe project experience — familiar with local grid connection, permitting, and contractor ecosystems - Data center (AIDC) engineering management experience
