Description
Senior AI Solution Architect (Generative AI) (m/f/d)
📍 Germany · Hybrid, primarily home-based · Permanent
Salary: Very Competitive Salary with bonus & benefits
Quick Interview process: Depending on experience of candidate can receive an offer within the first or second interview.
MAM Gruppe is recruiting a Senior GenAI Solution Architect for an international technology consultancy with an established and growing AI practice in Germany.
You’ll be the lead technical adviser to enterprise clients building GenAI applications. You’ll own the architecture from the first client workshop through to go live, guide the engineers building the solution and get hands on when a design needs testing or an integration gets complicated. Projects span Germany, international markets as well as the internal figures point to very strong project demand and utilisation of 95%.
What you’ll do day to day
- Run discovery workshops with clients, translate business requirements into a technical design and agree what the solution needs to deliver.
- Design and build cloud based GenAI applications, including retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and multi agent workflows.
- Make architecture decisions on how applications connect to enterprise data and systems, how agents coordinate and how the solution will scale and run in production.
- Lead technical teams through implementation, review designs and build or prototype key components when needed.
- Advise senior stakeholders on technical trade offs and contribute to proposals, pre sales discussions and the technical side of contract negotiations. Help spot where further AI work could solve a real client problem.
What you’ll bring
- At least 4 years of professional experience in AI, including hands on GenAI delivery and a track record of taking scalable AI solutions into production on consulting or implementation projects.
- Experience leading engineering teams as an architect and taking responsibility for technical decisions across a project.
- Practical experience with RAG, multi agent systems and agent orchestration frameworks, plus familiarity with protocols for connecting agents to tools and to each other.
- Confidence presenting to senior stakeholders, running client workshops and explaining architecture decisions in business terms.
- A degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, data science or a comparable STEM qualification.
- Fluent German, professional proficiency in English and willingness to travel when a project requires it.
Why consider it?
You’ll join an established AI practice with a strong pipeline of enterprise projects and plans to grow. Project teams have room to make decisions locally, and a dedicated commercial team handles much of the sales administration, giving you more time for architecture and delivery. The role is primarily home-based within Germany, with office and client visits depending on the project.
Apply through LinkedIn. If it’s relevant to your application, include a short note on a GenAI system you helped take live and the architecture decisions you owned. Applications will be handled confidentially.
