Data engineers here build scalable data pipelines, manage cloud platforms, and support aviation innovations using functional programming and big data tech stacks like Scala, Spark, and Kafka. 🎯 What you'll do ✅ Build, secure, and manage reliable data pipelines and data flows from multiple internal and external sources ✅ Integrate data into cloud-based platforms to support analytics and operational tools, ensuring platform scalability ✅ Collaborate closely with data scientists, product owners, and business analysts on data-driven aviation projects ✅ Support and maintain the data infrastructure behind advanced AI tools, including predictive maintenance models, disruption decision-support systems, and applications that help reduce operational waste ✅ Manage active data integrations across operations, fleet maintenance, and e-commerce systems within a cloud environment 🛠️ Tech stack ✅ Scala and functional programming ✅ Spark and Kafka ✅ Cloud-based data platforms This is you ✅ Around 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer ✅ Hands-on experience with Scala ✅ Knowledge of open-source technologies like Spark, Kafka, Airflow or Kubernetes ✅ Comfortable working with a variety of data types, formats, and velocities and scaling from a single machine to distributed systems ✅ Customer-focused with a strong can-do mentality; results-driven and eager to take on challenging tasks Interested?
