Technical Co-Founder (DevOps & Architecture) | AI Commerce | Remote, Europe

About Fashi Fashi is a Berlin-based AI fashion commerce startup (The new Pinterest). Our app is live on both the App Store and Google Play, and we are now focused on our B2B offering. We are a small, bootstrapped team. Two co-founders, one on business and one on AI engineering, plus specialists we bring in as needed. No external funding. What we do have is a product in production. The role We are looking for a senior engineer to own our infrastructure, architecture and engineering practices. You will decide how our systems are built, how they scale. What you will do - Own our cloud architecture and infrastructure on Google Cloud and Firebase, including scalability, cost control, security and reliability. - Design and run our CI/CD pipelines across backend, mobile and integrations, with proper monitoring, alerting and release processes. - Define the technical architecture for our B2B integrations and APIs. - Use AI coding agents as a core part of your workflow. - Guide and mentor our engineers and external contributors, review architecture decisions, and raise the technical bar across the team. What you bring Must have: - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with deep DevOps, infrastructure and system architecture ownership. - Hands-on expertise with cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud preferred, AWS or Azure acceptable), containers, infrastructure as code such as Terraform, and CI/CD automation. - Strong backend engineering in at least one of Node and TypeScript, Python or Go, including API design, webhooks and authentication. - Proven experience leading or mentoring engineers. You have been the person others escalate architecture decisions to. - Fluency with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or similar) as part of your daily engineering practice. - Residence in Europe Nice to have, not required: - Flutter or mobile release experience. - E-commerce platform integrations such as Shopify/WooCommerce.
