Freelance Linguist: Punjabi-India/Pakistan (Gurumukhi & Shahmukhi)

Our partner is looking for a Freelance Linguist: Punjabi – India/Pakistan (Gurmukhi & Shahmukhi) based in India. As a Freelance Punjabi Linguist, you will contribute to delivering high-quality multilingual content by ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance of translations. You will be responsible for translating, reviewing, and quality-checking Punjabi-language content across a variety of projects. Working within an international and collaborative linguistic network, you will help maintain language standards and ensure adherence to client-specific guidelines. You will also support terminology management, provide constructive feedback to fellow linguists, and help resolve linguistic challenges. The role offers opportunities to contribute to localization quality processes while working with modern translation technologies. Your linguistic expertise will help organizations communicate effectively with Punjabi-speaking audiences across India and Pakistan, using both Gurmukhi and Shahmukhi scripts.
