Cloud Platform Engineer

As a Senior AWS Cloud Platform Engineer, you will join a global team responsible for building and maintaining a secure, scalable and compliant AWS cloud platform. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on AWS, Python, AWS CDK, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation and cloud security. You will help expand the AWS platform, automate infrastructure and support the migration from on-premise environments to AWS Cloud. Your Job - Design, build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). - Develop, maintain and refactor Python code and cloud automation solutions. - Work with AWS Serverless services, including Lambda, Step Functions and SNS. - Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines, including migration to GitLab. - Implement cloud networking and security following Network Security Perimeter standards. - Improve platform reliability through automated testing, monitoring and observability. - Support AWS multi-region expansion and migration of workloads from on-premise to AWS. - Collaborate with developers and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions. Your Profile You are an experienced AWS Cloud Platform Engineer or AWS DevOps Engineer with strong software engineering skills and a passion for cloud automation. You bring: - Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Python development and AWS CDK. - Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation. - Experience with AWS Serverless technologies (Lambda, Step Functions, SNS). - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git and preferably GitLab. - Good understanding of AWS networking, cloud security and automated testing. - Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools, such as Splunk. - Experience with cloud migrations and multi-region AWS environments is a plus. - Strong problem-solving, collaboration and English communication skills.
