Senior Industrial Trades and Maintenance Expert Role Type: Contractor Location: Global – Remote Workload: Approximately 10 hours per week Schedule: Flexible working hours, including weekends Job Description We are seeking experienced Industrial Trades and Maintenance Experts to provide technical insights and practical industry knowledge for AI training projects. The role involves reviewing trade-specific technical documents, interpreting plans and schematics, and providing detailed technical assessments. No prior AI experience is required. Key Responsibilities - Review mechanical installation drawings, millwright documentation, and specialty trade plans. - Analyze field diagrams, inspection sketches, and site layout documents. - Evaluate pest control layouts, textile production schematics, and stage lighting plans. - Answer trade-specific technical questions with step-by-step explanations and justifications. - Provide clear, structured assessments for technical and non-technical audiences. - Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and complete document reviews within deadlines. - Share practical industry insights to improve the accuracy of AI-generated processes. Requirements - Minimum 7 years of professional experience in industrial trades, such as millwright, mechanical installation, textiles, specialty trades, pest control, or lighting design. - Journeyman certification or relevant professional license is strongly preferred. - Strong ability to interpret and evaluate technical drawings, plans, and schematics. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong problem-solving abilities and experience guiding or mentoring other trade professionals. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Familiarity with digital collaboration and document-sharing tools. - Experience developing or reviewing trade training materials is an advantage.
