Lead AI Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Lead AI Engineer to drive the design, development, and deployment of advanced generative AI and agentic systems supporting mission-critical government operations. In this role, you will define technical architecture, lead engineering initiatives, and transform complex operational requirements into secure, production-ready AI solutions. You will work with cutting-edge technologies, including large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and multi-agent orchestration. Collaborating with data scientists, product managers, systems analysts, and government stakeholders, you will ensure AI capabilities deliver measurable operational value. You will also establish engineering standards, oversee system evaluation and security, and mentor teams adopting AI-first development practices.
