Senior Machine Learning Platform Engineer Munich (Gilching) | Hybrid | €80,000–€150,000 base Build the ML platform behind the next generation of autonomous drones. A German-founded autonomous systems company, backed by Series D funding and valued at €3B+, is hiring a Senior ML Platform Engineer to help scale its AI capabilities. You’ll own the foundations its autonomy and perception teams depend on, turning vast amounts of real-world sensor data into reproducible, validated models. It’s an opportunity to shape a core engineering platform and see your work contribute directly to autonomous systems operating in the field. What we are looking for : - Senior engineer (5+ years) with hands-on experience building or scaling an ML platform. - Strong academic background from a leading university in Computer Science, AI, or a related technical discipline. - Strong Python skills with experience in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and MLOps tooling. What you will be doing : - Build and scale the ML platform powering next-generation autonomous systems. - Own data pipelines, distributed GPU training, experiment tracking, and model validation. - Develop AI-powered tools for dataset search, data curation, and automated labelling.
