Policy Director & Counsel, Voting and Fair Representation

Our partner is looking for a Policy Director & Counsel, Voting and Fair Representation based in the United States. As Policy Director & Counsel, you will lead strategic policy and legal initiatives focused on protecting voting rights, strengthening election administration, and advancing fair representation across the United States. You will drive state-level, multi-state, and federal advocacy strategies, transforming complex legal and policy research into meaningful democratic reforms. Working closely with legal experts, policy leaders, state teams, and external stakeholders, you will identify emerging challenges and opportunities to advance impactful solutions. You will also build strategic coalitions, influence legislative priorities, and represent the organization in high-level discussions with policymakers and the media. This role includes managing and mentoring a team member while collaborating across departments to maximize organizational impact.
